Hello, nice to meet you! This is my first post on my developer journal Aidan Nikki. I'm a CS student based in Los Angeles, heading into my second in the fall. My main interest within the field is web development, and I wanted a space to document the projects I build, the challenges I face, and my thought processes.

The name 'Aidan Nikki' comes from 日記 (nikki), the Japanese word for diary. I'm half Japanese and grew up in Japan, so I thought I'd mix in a Japanese word. Still not sure if I like the name so it may change in the future but it's the best I could come up with for now.

This is my journal where I mainly write on my personal projects I do as a developer but also a place to write about things that interest me. I love doing creative web projects using things like ThreeJS, Blender, drawings, and a lot of css, and I love to tie my projects with personal interests I have outside of coding. Things like tennis, music, video games (osu, brawl stars, minecraft), and drawing are just some of my hobbies (i have a lot of them) and I have a lot of fun projects planned out!

I’m still a relatively new developer and I hope to improve my skills step by step with each project. I have decided to start this to document my projects, and I hope to capture things like my thinking process, challenges, and cool stuff I find. Also if you want to collaborate or work on anything feel free to reach out to me! I love doing cool stuff so as long as it's interesting I am willing to help.
